Contract Value:
>> £750K
Project Duration:
>> 24 weeks

The scheme involves supplying a main sewer with a pumping station to the village of Bryn-y-Gwenin. Dwellings in the village use septic tanks that overflow into open ditches in wet conditions.
5-kilometres of 150mm pipeline were laid at a depth of 1 - 3 metres part of which passes through a golf course, this resulted in understandable anxiety from club members concerning damage , however the surface and condition of the fairway was returned to its original condition.
This scheme was brought about due to increasing environmental concerns resulting from untreated foul water overflow from 57 dwellings at Brn-y-Gwennin

The Sewage pumping station is now complete and will be commissioned in approximately 4 weeks. Del Wisloski is managing the program with our alliance partners Morrison Construction.
